In plastic injection molding, gate design is critical to achieving molded part quality and productivity. Because gates are designed to allow melted plastic resins to move into the mold cavity, it’s imperative that gate material, size and location are optimized for structural, operational and aesthetic considerations.
Material
Proper material selection is critical in plastic injection molding gate design. The last thing you want is the wrong material based on machining a part from a stock resin that’s been cast into bar stock or flat stock.
Castings are always stronger & less prone to stress fracturing. A part machined out of cast material will often give you a resulting stronger part. If machining the part includes sharp corners, this could become a trap into the material selection being completely wrong for the molding process.

Bottle jacks are the only ones that work this way. Using a hydraulic jack in a horizontal position requires the pump to be lower than the piston. This prevents the hydraulic fluid from escaping into the piston accumulator and causing a pressure drop.
Step 1
Turn the drain valve counterclockwise using the notch on the end of the lift handle to fully lower the piston. Turn the valve clockwise as soon as the piston points down.

We'd say they are more forgiving than non-stretch fabrics since the sewn garments will shape with the body.
Knit fabric doesn't fray, which means that you don't have to finish seams, which you would do with woven fabrics. Neither does knit get wrinkly, as much as woven fabrics usually do. They do shrink when washing for the first time, so you'll want to pre-wash the fabric before cutting into it.
Knit fabrics can have different amounts of stretch. For example, generally ribbing has a lot of stretch, while jersey and interlock has less. But it depends on if and how much lycra is in the fabric. Find more info in our fabric guide (coming soon).

Injection molding introduced by Plastic mold factory involves two basic steps:
Melt Generation by a rotating screw.
The propelling movement of the screw helps to fill the mold cavity with the molten resins which passes the injected resin under high pressure.
A hopper and runner system is used to place the raw plastic resins into a heating barrel carefully.
There’s a reciprocating screw inside the barrel which creates heat with a frictional force with heater bands. The plastic melts there.
As the machine is still moving (with the help of the screw), the plastic is then injected through a nozzle from where it gets inside a mold cavity through a gate system. It almost looks like a tunnel.
Finally, we get the desired shape of the plastic resins, which cools as it is inside the cavity.
